Install Surfacely on your phone

Surfacely installs onto your home screen like any other app, on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. There is nothing to download from an app store — the steps below take under a minute.

Why install it

• Opens straight from your home screen, like any other app.
• Keeps working on site when the signal drops — your measurements are saved either way.
• Stays signed in, so there is no login every time you pull up a job.

iPhone or iPad

Four taps in Safari.

• Tap ••• in the Safari toolbar — or the share icon, if that is what you see.
• Tap Share.
• If you can't see Add to Home Screen, tap View More first.
• Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Android

One tap, or two through the menu.

• Tap ⋮ at the top right of Chrome.
• Look for Install in the menu, and tap it.

Windows or Mac, Chrome or Edge

There is an Install button in the address bar.

• Look for Install at the right-hand end of the address bar.
• Click it, then confirm.

Mac, Safari

Safari calls it adding to the Dock.

• Open the File menu.
• Choose Add to Dock, then Add.
• On older versions of macOS you will not see this. Use Chrome or Edge instead.

If you are on an iPhone in another browser

On iPhone and iPad this only works from Safari.

• Copy the link above.
• Open Safari and paste it in.
• Follow the iPhone steps from there.
