When to use mobile
Site visits, measuring, capturing photos, voice-noting updates from the van. The camera and microphone flows are designed for a phone in one hand.
When to use desktop
Quote building, proposal writing, reviewing the pipeline, inviting team members, editing your business pricing. The two-panel layouts (measurement + review, quote builder + preview) are much more comfortable on a 15-inch screen than on a 6-inch one.
Why it matters: painters who switch devices correctly quote faster than painters who try to do everything on one device. Measure on the phone while you're moving through the building, then build the quote at the office where you can see the whole picture.
