Choosing which notifications you get

Surfacely can tell you the moment a client opens a quote, accepts it, pays a deposit or balance, lets an invoice run overdue, sends in a new lead, or when a job's spend starts creeping toward your budget. You decide which of those reach you, and how.

Where to find it

Open your account menu (your name, top of the screen) and choose Notification preferences. It's there for everyone on the team, including crew — not just owners.

Three ways we can reach you

Every notification has three channels you can switch on or off independently:

So you can, say, get a phone push the second a quote's accepted but keep "quote viewed" to the bell only.

Everything's on to start

A new account gets the full set on every channel — you only ever turn things down, never hunt around switching them on. Three quick presets sit above the grid if you don't want to set each one:

Tap a preset, then fine-tune any individual switch from there.

What you can be notified about

One handy detail: muting the in-app bell doesn't lose anything — those notifications are still kept quietly, so if you switch the bell back on later, the ones you missed are there. Email and push, once off, simply don't send.
