Leads and the embeddable lead widget

Every Surfacely business gets a public lead widget — a branded enquiry form you can embed on your own website. A homeowner fills it in, and a new Lead project appears in your pipeline instantly.

Where to find your widget

Your widget has its own web address to share or embed — find it in Settings → Leads. You can drop that link into a button on your site, or embed the form directly. It shows your logo, brand colour, and business name — so it looks like part of your site, not a third-party form.

What the form captures

What happens when someone submits

  1. A new project is created with status Lead
  2. You get an email notification
  3. The lead shows up in Projects → Leads
  4. One tap converts the lead into an active project — the client and site are already created, you just start scoping
Why it matters: painters who capture enquiries on a form get the name, address and what they want, all in one place. Painters who capture enquiries by phone or email end up with half-remembered notes they have to chase up. Every complete lead is a faster, easier conversion.
Tip: share your lead widget URL in your email signature, on social, in QR codes on business cards. Every contact point is a potential lead source.
